My Simmer Pot Recipe
What you need:
- Clear Pot | Other Pot Options
- Water (you can subsitute for apple juice or apple cider if you want)
- 1–2 cups whole fresh or frozen cranberries (enough to cover the surface of the water)
- 1 large orange
- 1 large apple
- 1-2 rosemary
- 2-4 cinnamon sticks
- 1–2 tablespoons whole cloves
- A few dashes of ground nutmeg or cinnamon
Directions:
- Throw all of your ingredients in your aesthetic pot
- Bring the pot and ingredients to a boil and then turn down to simmer
- Simmer for a few hours. After simmering allow to cool, then cover the pot and let it sit on the turned-off stove until the next day. Remove the lid and bring it to a simmer again the next day. Add fresh water as needed so there is always liquid in the pot.
- The simmer pot can last 2-7 days
